Ray comfort is confronting Abortion, using logic and common morals to do so. This is a powerful video to watch no matter what group you reside in. If you are pro-life you will learn apologetic truth to use to defend your stance. If you are pro-”choice”, you will learn a lot about why we don’t agree with you.
I learned how to share my faith from Ray Comfort. It was his “Hells best kept secret” that taught me the importance of evangelism, and our call to do so. If you haven’t read his books, I highly encourage you to do so.
Although he is Calvinist he is very polite and never ever brings it up. I read 3 of his books and still didn’t know anything about his Calvinist views until somebody close to him told me. So, don’t let his doctrine distract you from the truth.
Thanks for watching.
You woke up this morning. Why?
You went to work today. Why?
You watched a movie, read a book, played a game. Why?
Don’t forget the reason we are here. This complicated life suddenly becomes very simple when we remember that His glory is the ultimate goal.
I was greatly convicted by this sermon of Paul Washer’s. It motivated me to change things in my life that are “trifle” and a waste of time.
It has some strong words for men and Christians.
May God bless and challenge,
Has anyone heard of these before? This is my first time. When I watched this video the light bulb in my head didn’t just turn on, it blew up.
I love reading books and watching videos about the genius of creation. This is a wonderful example of the creativity of God.
Here it is:
Cool, eh? Here’s another one that portrays the pattern in nature a little better:
Thanks for reading,
Sex. Alcohol. Nudity. More sex and alcohol.
The super bowl ads were full of all that garbage. Thankfully the host of the party had DVR so we could pause and fast forward all the crap.
What makes things worse is that the following ad was denied because it was too religious and offensive:
It leaves me speechless. They allowed the ad to be viewed in 2-3 states, but the content wasn’t appropriate for a national audience. I would go on about how this angers me, why this is wrong, and how it’s inconsistent, but I’m sure the gears in your head are turning too.
I’m thinking about what I want to do next year. I’m offended by the secular ads, so maybe I wont watch the game. Maybe I’ll write a few letters about how I cannot watch ads that worship sex.
Imagine a day when the ads were clean again. It’s possible. We just need to pray about it.
P.S. If even the mention of John 3:16 offends the world, then why am I, a Christian representing the Messiah, not offending the world?
This wasn’t meant to be a serious post. I just saw a very funny video by Julian Smith that I wanted to post with a few scripture verses.
“For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me.”
“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”
I have been struck by the incredible amount of knowledge available today. You would think we’d be a very smart people because of it. But for some reason we haven’t tapped even a fraction of the information available to us. I believe that if you gave a determined person access to Google or Wikipedia they could obtain the equivalent to a college degree in a very short time.
80% of the world’s total knowledge has been brought forth in the last decade and 90% of all the scientists who have ever lived are alive today.
It’s all at our fingertips now.
This is a very moving video created by The David Crowder Band. I don’t know how familiar you are with their music, but I have to tell you that his work is always something special. When our youth group isn’t singing his songs for worship, we’re listening to them at home.
I don’t mean to glorify man. But the words and music of his songs are so focused upon the important aspects of God that it creates an immediate atmosphere of praise. Some artists smell of pride or greed. There’s none of that with David.
He and his band came together and created a music video for his latest song “(SMS) Shine.” Using over 700,000 pegs from a Lite Brite toy and without the assistance of computer animation they were able to create this 3 minute video.
His full explanation of the song and video can be found here. Please read what he has to say, as it’s a lot more interesting than what I just wrote myself.
Have you heard of Tim Hawkins yet? I hope so. He’s becoming a favorite of mine, right up there with Ken Davis and Taylor Mason. Every once in awhile I get online and check to see if he has new material out. We own 3 of his DVDs, and he just came out with a 4th.
This is an excerpt from the newest one. I hope you enjoy him as much as I do.
This is a hilarious video that I enjoyed very much.
The opening and ending are a little random, but everything else is worth watching!
And I forgot to mention earlier, I found this video reading from Living Journey.
