99% of American households have a television.
66% of American households have at least 3 televisions.
In the average U.S. home, the television is onĀ  6 hours, 47 minutes each day
Total hours spent by the American population watching television each year: 250 billion.
Value of said hours, based on a $5 an hour wage: $1.5 trillion.


Minutes spent each week by the average child watching television: 1,680
Number of minutes per week that parents spend in meaningful conversation with their children: 3.5
of 4-6 year-olds would rather watch television than spend time with their father.


I was blown away by that last one. Is it not obvious what our god is in America?
