Black and white. That is how the law starts out when it is written on our hearts (Romans 2:15.)

But God gave us a clever mind. A mind that is capable of reasoning away anything we wish to. We can convince ourselves that theft is okay, if you take only a little. Or that lying doesn’t matter, so long as nobody gets hurt.
Abortion is no exception to this list of exceptions.
I don’t care who you are. You could be the great grandchild of Adolf Hitler, but if you saw a small child about to be murdered, you would do everything you could to prevent it from happening.

Unless, of course, that child is in the womb.

Our culture has argued itself stupid with abortion, when in its simplest forms, we are killing babies.

They reason that they are not living, yet they feel pain.
They say that they are just extension of the mothers body, no more than a zit, yet it can have a completely different blood type.

I could go on with a list of reasons why I think abortion is wrong. But I’m going to let God do the talking.

The Value of Children

No, this isn’t directly attributed to abortion. But I want you to realize that children were a prized possession in scripture. And not just to the eyes of the Father, but to the entire Nation of Israel. If you had many children, you were deeply blessed by God.

Genesis 30:2

The Beginning of Life

What is a human being?
This part has little to do with non-Christians reading this. I’m not upset with them.

I am upset with Christians who are so near-sighted they limit human beings to flesh and blood.

We could ignore ALL the tests that tell us a fetus feels pain, can think, move, cry and even emit emotion.
You would still have to prove to me that God has not already given these babies a spirit.

You would have to prove this, and argue away all the scriptures that already say that He does.

Judges 13:7 is a prediction of Samson. God knew who He was, BEFORE He was even conceived.

Job 3:11 suggests that we have a spirit while in the womb.

Job 31:15 tells us that Job was hand crafted while in the womb. Remember this one, I will be coming back to it.

Isaiah 44:2 and Isaiah 44:24 also tells us about being crafted while in the womb.

Isaiah 49:1 and Isaiah 49:5 are about being called into the ministry from the womb.

Jeremiah 1:5 is about Jeremiah being called to be a prophet before He was born.

Hosea 12:3 records two babies in the womb wrestling.

Luke 1:41 This is not a miracle. It is scientifically recorded that babies can hear and react to the noises and voices around them.

A Person Before Conception

I want to use Job 31:15 again:

Did not he that made me in the womb make him? and did not one fashion us in the womb?

I was reading an article a while back about why abortion is “biblical.” The person who wrote it was ill-informed and chose a terrible title. As He/She could only explain why He/She thought it wasn’t “un-biblical.”

Anyways, the point was made that any reference to a Spirit before conception was limited to “special” people like Isaiah, Jeremiah and Jesus Christ.

But this verse in Job tells us something different. Job was not set apart in the womb. He was born like everybody else, and it wasn’t until He was a man that God made special note of him above the others. Yet he was crafted by God in the womb.

Also, the verse says “fashion US.” Meaning: we are all crafted by God.

Now, if you want to argue with me concerning science, law or anything else like that, be my guest.

I don’t give a wooden nickle about your opinion.

If you want my attention, bring to me Scripture that declares Child sacrifice to be okay.

Thanks for reading,
