On August 19 the Lutheran Church in America voted to allow same
sex marriage and clergy. This video shows a tornado that hit
Minneapolis on August 19 around 2 pm at the time they voted. It
sheered the cross off the Lutheran church next to the conference
center where they were meeting. Here is the video:

I do believe God is not only capable of doing this, but very willing. He has warned us time and time again.

I don’t imagine he is done.

NOTICE: This post has been argued as untrue. Here is the link that was given-

With all this talk and fear of political correctness, it is a breath of fresh air to hear a man of authority speaking so plainly about his convictions.
He is the Australian Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, and he has some choice words for Muslims.

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks..
Separately, Rudd angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation’s mosques. Quote:
‘IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians. ‘

‘This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom’
‘We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society . Learn the language!’
‘Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.’
‘We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.’
‘This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, ‘THE RIGHT TO LEAVE’.’
‘If you aren’t happy here then LEAVE. We didn’t force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.’

Just this morning I had the opportunity to speak to my congregation. Of course I was scared to death, but with God given courage I made it through.

I was shocked however to hear that I had only spoken for 13 minutes. Quite the quick sermon huh?
Something I should work on next time. I thought for sure this was going to be a longer one.

Oh well.
What I am worried about right now is that “The Passion Promise” has vanished for Tangle. Without any explanation. I emailed them to hopefuly get an answer. There were allot of views and comments I would hate to lose.

It has happened before though. We will see what happens.

Maybe it is supposed to be setting the stage for the next video?
“The Prophecy Promise” will be released October 1st. It is a christmas video, and dispite the title, it has no prophetic speakers. You will see what I mean.

Thank you for your prayers everyone! They help and aweful lot.

I was on Tangle and I spotted this video. When I started watching it I didn’t expect it to go far, I’ve seen alot of cat videos and I have rarely been impressed.

I was not only impressed with this, but I was blown away.

This seams like a good post for all of you loyal readers. There hasn’t been a light-hearted post in awhile.

What. The. Heck.
I read the following on a church website:

The New Church, based on the Old and New Testaments, and the writings of Emanuel Swedenborg, teaches how Jesus saves, consistent with our knowledge of a loving God.
God desires for us all to go to heaven. He doesn’t judge us, or condemn evildoers to hell. Those who choose evil condemn themselves to hell by choosing to withdraw from the Lord’s love and mercy. The Lord God Jesus Christ saved us by showing us how to live our lives. His entire life on earth was about overcoming evils and temptations, and his death was the conclusion of that struggle. Just as we are faced with evils and temptations in our lives, Jesus struggled against those same temptations as a human. In overcoming them, He taught us the way to live.
We are saved when we open ourselves to the Lord and his love, and draw nearer to the Lord; and we do that by living our lives loving him. What does that mean? It means obeying his commandments (avoiding evil), being of use and loving others. We may have been taught that believing in the Lord is enough to save. But belief (or faith) without actively living that faith is not truly believing. Certainly, we cannot earn our way to heaven by our works. But we only truly believe or have faith when we actively work to do God’s will. Love (or charity) must be united with faith in order for either to be real.

Jesus saved us, not through his death, but through his life. He overcame evil and restored a sense of balance in the world, leaving us in freedom to choose good or evil. He taught us how we should live our lives; in fact he showed us how to do it. It is only by so doing that we can be truly happy. When we die, we continue to make these choices, which determines whether we live in heaven loving God and doing his will, or turn away from him to hell. Jesus set the stage so that we are free to choose. We must do our part to choose good, which will draw us closer to the Divine. This is how Jesus saves.

I highlighted the special parts.

Not a word of repentance. Not a word of Righteousness. Not a single word from scripture. How dare they.

To say that we are saved by Christ’s life, not his death, is pure ignorance. Pure Blasphemy.
To say God does not send sinners to Hell, is equally so.

Christ was the Lamb SENT to be slain. He came die, not live.

There seams to be a huge misconception about Hell. Let me tell you something:
Heaven is heaven because God is there.
Hell is hell because God is there.

People think Hell is total absence of God, when in reality, it is a place for him to literaly torment for all eternity. Satan is not in control, and the fire comes straight from God almighty.

I may sound like a religious fruit cake. but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Show me a single scripture verse about Gods love, and I will show you ten about his wrath. Jesus Christ spoke more about hell than he did about heaven.

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
(John 3:36)

See it for yourself:

Contact the church, let them know what you think. But please be respectful.
This website is the perfect picture of the apostasy.

Keep me in your prayers. I will be preaching this Sunday.

Although I am excited about the particular message I will be speaking on, I am terrified of getting in the way. Pray that I keep a godly mind about me, and that I preach only the words God would have me speak. Pray that the words will be timely, and that hearts will accept it.

Pray that God will be ever-present in my thoughts.

And when they came to Nachon’s threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it. And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God.

(2 Samual 6:6-7)

I always wondered why God would kill a man who was protecting The Ark. It seamed noble to reach out and “save” it.
But at second glance, Uzzah thought his hand was cleaner than the ground.

How often do we touch something we shouldn’t, because we think its in danger?
The gospel, Gods law, and his teachings.

We see something and we try to “update” it. To keep it from growing dry or old-fashioned.

People of God, keep your hands off that which the Lord has finished!

A Lady from church asked me to house sit for her. So I’m here at her house with her Grandson, about to go to bed.

Staying here has been pretty cool. I needed time alone. I have to speak in a week and I just had the idea to speak about today. I’m excited about this one.

ForrestH and I have been saving planets all over the Galaxy since he got here. Pretty worn out.

Got to watch the “Insperation Channel”. Untill then I had forgotten about Christian fluff.

I just fixed a glitch that made all my posts “authored” by DrewP. Sorry Drew, but I had to fix it. It was a quick fix once I went to Word press for help. Thanks guys.

I was surfing just a little bit ago, and I came upon this website:

Its pretty much a life check list to see how well you are doing as a Teenager. Once they finish asking you questions about drugs, sex, alcohol, cigarettes and the like, they give you your result.

I posted awhile back about the 13 year old boy who became a father, and how that awoke the Nation of Britain to the immorality of their youth. This is probably an effort of theirs to fight back.

I was very pleased and surprised to see how conservative the answers were. They had a firm stance against safe sex, and encouraged you to research the effects of drugs and the effect they have on you.

BUT, there is no mention of God. I can’t be sure, but I believe this to be a Government run website, and therefore does not give spiritual guidance.
It is a noble effort, this website. However, without Jesus Christ, nothing will come of this website. Any effect it has on their teens will not last.

Keep praying for their Nation. Pray that the Church will step in, and do what the Government cannot.

I need input from you guys.

Years ago, when I was only 8-9 years old, I would go out at night to a dock.
I would then take my shoes off, sit down on the edge, and believe.

I used to think that believing was faith. But that is not so.
I believed with all my heart that I would feel the water firm beneath my feet. I thought that by believing, I would have faith the size of a mustard seed.

Now this is my outlook on faith, in a nut-shell.

FAITH is believing God will do what he said he would.
BLIND-FAITH is believing God will do something he didn’t say he would.
FOOLISHNESS is believing God will do something he said he wouldn’t.

What are your thoughts? I want to hear some scripture from all of you.

God bless,
