99% of American households have a television.
66% of American households have at least 3 televisions.
In the average U.S. home, the television is on  6 hours, 47 minutes each day
Total hours spent by the American population watching television each year: 250 billion.
Value of said hours, based on a $5 an hour wage: $1.5 trillion.

Hmm…

Minutes spent each week by the average child watching television: 1,680
Number of minutes per week that parents spend in meaningful conversation with their children: 3.5
54%
of 4-6 year-olds would rather watch television than spend time with their father.

I was blown away by that last one. Is it not obvious what our god is in America?

    Hey Luke.
Believe it or not, I did not conduct this investigation. If you want more information concerning the stats, click the link.

And no, tv is not a sign of the devil, nor is it sinful. Just the garbage shown on it.
