Helicopter seed

Tell me, how did this evolve? Why did it evolve?
When did the tree figure out that the seeds were not going out far enough? Why did it come up with something so different  from what every other tree was doing?
It would have been allot easier for it to evolve a rolling seed, like the apple tree. But no, the Maple tree has a awesome, “helicopter” seed.  I believe God wanted to show off on this tree.

I see that all over creation. If things truly were able to evolve slowly into new creatures, certain clever factors in nature would not exist. Why would they? Evolution can only explain the bare necessites in creatures, and then only barely. Where and why did color appear in animals? Camoflauge you say? Oh. Well why did color appear in the plants?

*sigh*

Maybe there are some answers out there. But they will probably delve into speculation and lean on un-proved facts.

More GREAT QUOTES from LEONARD RAVENHILL
“Today’s church wants to be raptured from responsibility.”

“Testimonies are wonderful. But, so often our lives don’t fit our
testimonies.”

[Concerning one of the new "movements" in the church that was
causing a stir among Christians:] “There’s also a stir when the
circus comes to town.”

“My main ambition in life is to be on the Devil’s most wanted list.”

“You can’t develop character by reading books. You develop it
from conflict.”

“When there’s something in the Bible that churches don’t like,
they call it: legalism.’”

“Our seminaries today are turning out dead men.”

“How can you pull down strongholds of Satan if you don’t even
have the strength to turn off your TV?”

“Everyone recognizes that Stephen was Spirit-filled when he was
performing wonders. Yet, he was just as Spirit-filled when he was
being stoned to death.”

“If a Christian is not having tribulation in the world, there’s
something wrong!”

[Concerning the fixation that today's church has with numbers,
with growth at any price:] “The church has paid a terrible price for
statistics!”

“You can have all of your doctrines right, yet still not have the
presence of God.”

“Many pastors criticize me for taking the Gospel so seriously. But
do they really think that on Judgment Day, Christ will chastise me,
saying, ‘Leonard, you took Me too seriously?”

“If Jesus had preached the same message that ministers preach
today, He would never have been crucified.”

“If the whole church goes off into deception, that will in no way
excuse us for not following Christ.”

We try organizing – we should try agonizing.

If a man will stand before God he will never kneel before men.

‘”I have nothing and possess all things.”… The church today has
everything yet possesses nothing.’

Why are we surprised?
When California, possibly the most sinful State in the Union, starts a downward spiral why do we stand back and go “hmm….that’s odd?”

You cannot run a Government with no respect for godly morals and our Christian heritage, and not have side effects. I mean seriously, I’m no prophet but I saw it coming.

Here is a very stirring video on abortion. Its very short, only 3 minutes long.

I am normaly very open to matters that do not agree with my idea of Christianity, or justice. Normaly, I would not make the following statement:

Fellow Christiains, I do not care what you think about abortion. I dont give a wooden nickel for what oppinion you have formed. In all the debates I have ever engaged in concerning abortion, Christians are left powerless at the mention of scripture and will only respond with “Oh, well I think….”
Stop it. If your thoughts have not submitted to Christ as a slave to his master, I do not care about what you are about to say.

If you can only argue about what MAN considers lawful, freedom, moral, and righteous, then you are fallible. A double minded man, and unstable.

Please, if anybody has any case for abortion that comes straight from scripture, share it with me. It does not exist.

—-

I planned on only sharing a few thoughts with you. I guess I’ll have to wait for another post to share them all. Maybe my next video will feature Abortion? But there are so many idea’s going through my mind right now that I could not possibly decide yet on what to do next.

Prayers,
Cullen

Okay. Some of you may or may not have heard about the High School student who just got suspended. He attends a High School where Dancing, Rock Music, Holding Hands and Kissing are against the rules.

Tyler  ended up taking his Girlfriend to Prom, and of course, danced. He therefore earned his supension.

Was he in the wrong?

For the following reasons I think he was:

1. He went against his Principles instructions
2. He has since then mocked his school by kissing in front of the building

For the following reasons I think he was not:

1. The school should not regulate what is done outside of the school. Let Mom and Dad do that.
2. Scripture has absolutely no law against dancing. I mean, good grief, King David danced naked in public. (I am not suggesting we do so however :P)
3. He had his Fathers permission. His father knew that his school would not like it, yet he gave the go-ahead because he thought it was fine.

I do not approve of either Tylers actions, or the Principles. Both have acted irresponsibly in this situation. Tyler should never have spited his Principle, but he did have his fathers permission. The Principle does have irrevocable authority in the School, but not in the home.

This never should of happened at all.

I have a question for you. As Christians, we are called to lay down our life for Christ. To “die to self”. Now, is it possible to take that too far? Would I be able to restrict myself, beyond what is expected of me?

I have added a poll to the site. Along the right sidebar. Tell me what you think, and in a week I will give you my thoughts based on Romans Chapter 6.

Prayers,
Cullen
